Cabinet Shop Foreman

Job Summary:
Job duties will include:
Managing shop production schedules in coordination with Owner
Assigning work to team members
Managing quality control
Managing shipping to storage units
Handling pick tickets for jobs
Monitoring inventory levels and ordering materials
Continuous improvement tasks
Lead daily huddle meeting
Develop and implement new processes and procedures
Manage shop personnel
Work towards the vision set by Owner
Review and redline shop drawings to prepare for production
Compile job packet for use on shop floor
Utilize Mozaik and Sketchup for providing information to shop floor
Positively affect company culture
Assist with cabinet fabrication as needed
Other Duties as assigned
This position reports to the Owner. The finishers, cabinetmakers, and apprentices report to the Foreman.
Compensation:
Negotiable, Generally starting at $28-$35/hour
Benefits:
- 10 days paid time off after 2000 hours
- Ability to use shop for personal projects

Qualifications:
Candidates must have 5 years of woodworking experience. Familiarity with spray finishes and AAA spray rigs a plus.
Applicants must:
- Be able to safely operate all standard shop tools
- Be able to read a ruler
- Be able to lift 100lbs
- Be able to read shop drawings
- Work unsupervised
- Have reliable transportation
- Follow both written and oral directions
- Have a track record of strong leadership ability
- Demonstrate knowledge of Theory of Constraints and Lean Manufacturing
- Have previous experience in leadership in a cabinet shop
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
