Insurance Restoration Canvasser: Full-Time | Northern Virginia | In-PersonJob

-ENTRY LEVEL POSITION-

Overview:

Are you a strong communicator who thrives in face-to-face conversations and enjoys helping homeowners after storms? We are seeking motivated Insurance Restoration Canvassers to generate qualified homeowner appointments for roofing and exterior storm damage inspections.This role focuses on education, lead generation, appointment setting, and initial deal signing, with advancement opportunities for top performers.

What You’ll Do

Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned neighborhoods
Identify homeowners who may have storm-related roof or exterior damage
Educate homeowners on the insurance restoration process
Qualify leads based on homeowner interest and property condition
Schedule inspections with licensed restoration professionals
Maintain professional, honest, and compliant communication
Accurately document leads and appointment details
Top performers will be trained to sign initial contracts for additional commission.

Note: This position does not involve negotiating pricing, filing insurance claims, or managing projects.

-What We’re Looking For

Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to handle rejection professionally
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Customer service, construction, or canvassing experience a plus (not required)

-Compensation

$50.00 per qualified lead (MUST QUALIFY)
$200.00 additional bonus if a contract is signed from a qualified lead.
Uncapped earning potential
Performance-based bonuses available
Top Performers eligible for project commission.

-Qualified Lead Definition

A qualified lead is defined as a homeowner-occupied property with verified contact information, visible and/or reasonably suspected pre-existing storm-related damage, demonstrated homeowner interest in an inspection, and a scheduled appointment with the decision-maker present. We will train you to identify qualified leads.

Performance Expectations & Reporting

This role is performance-driven. Individuals are expected to generate a minimum of 8+ qualified leads per week.
High performers typically convert 4–5 contracts per week, depending on territory, weather, and homeowner availability.
You will work directly under a designated Team Lead, who will provide daily guidance, oversight, and performance feedback.
Leads that cancel, no-show, or otherwise fail to occur do not qualify for compensation.
