Full Job Description

JOB TITLE: Clinically Licensed Site Director

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Operations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

"Clinically-Licensed Site Director" holds a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university and a Virginia State license in professional counseling (LPC) or social work (LCSW). Or, has any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Preference given to Board-approved LPC’s & LCSW’s. A minimum of 3 years’ post-licensure mental health related experience is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of youth and family counseling; thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of basic interviewing and assessment skills; working knowledge of human services system, roles of human services personnel, and relevant community resources; ability to conduct and facilitate meetings; ability to form effective supervisory relationship with subordinate staff; ability to maintain effective working relationships with other social services providers, service purchasers, and clients; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The site Director is the principal executive responsible for the overall management of site operations;
Prepares and reviews productivity, clinical, and fiscal reports for the site;
Ensures metric performance goals are met as guided by site budget, target productivity goals, target growth goals, compliance management goals, and community outreach goals;
Recruits, interviews, disciplines and performs staff terminations for their site, subject to ICG policies and procedures;
Develops agenda and facilitates weekly staff meetings;
Develops agenda and facilitates weekly management planning meetings (MPM);
Completes referral screening and manages assessments and case assignments;
Manages all MCO and eligibility for all Medicaid cases for site;
Coordinates local training with supervisors for all new hires;
Facilitate supervisor response to any audits including corrections and the development of action plans;
Develops and nurtures relationships with existing and new referral sources within service area using ICG business development methods and resources;
Supervises Office Manager and any other administrative functions;
Ensures implementation of systems and Organization Directives within the site;
Director supervises the Clinical Supervisors and may supervise clinical staff when necessary;
Provides an average of 4 hours of supervision per week with each counselor supervisee:
Mandatory face-to-face meeting for 1 hour weekly to assist clinical staff with caseload management related to organization of caseload and productivity, clinical approaches to cases assigned, discuss quality and integrity of clinical documentation, professionalism and professional development;
Completes the Supervisor Report weekly during the 1 hour face-to-face;
Mandatory review of clinical records prior to 1-hour meeting to ensure proper and complete documentation of clinical and case management activities;
Assists staff throughout the day and week as needed via phone and email;
Accompanies counselor to multi-disciplinary meetings (FAPT) and court hearings;
Will further assure that supervisees under their administrative responsibility are providing appropriate care, by communicating on a regular basis with the internal and/or external, Clinical Supervisor from whom the supervisee is receiving Board registered supervision.
Will further assure that Registered Residents and/or Supervisees under their clinical responsibility are providing appropriate care, by communicating on a regular basis with the ICG Administrative Supervisor regarding clients in the employees’ care.
Participates in quality assurance activities monthly which include meetings and phone interviews with clients, parents/guardians and case managers;
Remains available to clinical staff 24 hours daily to assist with crisis intervention;
May provide direct clinical services to clients, including individual, family, couple, and group therapy, and issue-specific or educational groups (parenting skills, anger management, substance abuse interventions);
Fulfills all documentation, case management and billing functions for providing direct service as outlined in the counselor job description;
Adheres to and upholds the guidelines and standards of ICG, which include DBHDS and DMAS standards and guidelines, in the provision of supervision and clinical care.
When providing direct client services, will maintain the client file in compliance with Medicaid and ICG guidelines, assuring that all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner (i.e. individual service plan, progress notes, quarterly report, discharge summary, and any other documentation of DMAS, DBHDS, or Managed Care Organizations as they may require) and adhering to all such deadlines. THIS PROVISION SHALL SURVIVE THE TERM OF ANY EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT;
Shall be responsible for wholly fulfilling the requirements and completeness of all elements of Supervision and client documentation whether in digital or paper form. This provision shall survive the term of this contract.
