Bryce Enterprise is a privately held real estate development, architecture, and design company based in Northern Virginia. We specialize in creating custom homes, luxury renovations, and investment properties throughout Northern Virginia, the Shenandoah Valley, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Our team manages the complete development process from initial concept through completion, including feasibility studies, project planning, real estate and construction contract preparation, architectural design, interior design, permitting, and coordination with licensed contractors and project partners.
By bringing multiple disciplines together under one team, Bryce Enterprise creates thoughtful, well-designed spaces while maintaining a high level of quality, efficiency, and attention to detail throughout every phase of a project.
Our portfolio includes a diverse range of residential projects, from custom homes and major renovations to brand new mountain cabins, vacation Airbnb properties, and coastal homes. Each project provides an opportunity to work with unique designs, premium finishes, and creative solutions.
We are seeking a motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career designer who wants hands-on experience and exposure to the complete lifecycle of residential development.
Position Overview
The Junior Interior Designer will support our architecture, interior design, and project management teams across a variety of residential projects.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, eager to learn, and interested in understanding how exceptional homes are created from the ground up.
You will work alongside designers, architects, contractors, vendors, and project partners while gaining experience in design development, drafting, material selections, project coordination, and construction execution.
The ideal candidate is someone who wants more than a drafting position; they want to understand the full process of creating a home, from early planning and design concepts through final completion.
Responsibilities
- Assist with interior design and architectural documentation.
- Prepare floor plans, elevations, details, and design drawings using Chief Architect and other design software.
- Assist with kitchen, bathroom, and whole-home design layouts.

- Prepare finish schedules, material boards, and design presentation materials.
- Research products, coordinate samples, and assist with material sourcing.
- Communicate with licensed contractors, vendors, and suppliers regarding design details and project requirements.
- Participate in project site visits to verify conditions, review progress, and help maintain design intent.
- Assist with contractor questions, field coordination, and design adjustments.
- Maintain project files, schedules, selections, and documentation.
- Assist with scopes of work, budgets, proposals, and project tracking.
- Support the team with additional design, architectural, and project coordination needs as required.
Qualifications
- Degree or current studies in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 0–2 years of professional experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Experience with SketchUp, Revit, Chief Architect, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with contractors, vendors, clients, and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
