Full Job Description

Summary/Objective

The quality control auditor is responsible for auditing the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the production output

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Maintenance of Quality Assurance documentation
Inspection and testing of processes and procedures – taking measurements and comparing to predefined standards
Ensure all documentation is organized and maintained in accordance with internal procedures
Put together all work order samples for the mail shop floor
Ensure work orders are followed properly and in a timely manner
Responsible for conducting first piece inspections, in process inspections, final inspections, and spot checks

Qualifications:

Prior experience in Quality Control experience in a previous manufacturing, printing or processing position highly preferred
Strong Analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal skills (required)
Strong Attention to detail
Ability to think critically

Communication Proficiency.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. The employee may be required to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm for the second shift.

Travel:

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

Must be able to get background check and drug test.

Work Authorization:

Must be eligible to work in the United States.
