Front End Jewelry Sales Specialist
Finder’s Keepers Body Piercing – Norfolk & Chesapeake, Virginia
Finder’s Keepers Body Piercing is seeking an energetic, confident and dependable Jewelry Sales Specialist to join our front-end team.
This is a sales and customer-service position for someone who loves jewelry, fashion, body piercing and helping people express their personal style. Customer service is everything. Our goal is to make every client feel welcomed, comfortable, informed and excited about their piercing and jewelry choices.
The ideal candidate is high-energy, friendly, outgoing, professional and sales-focused. You must be comfortable recommending premium jewelry and upgrades while remaining completely nonjudgmental about a customer's budget. We educate clients, present their options and let them choose what best fits their style and budget.
The Position
As a Front End Jewelry Specialist, you are often the first and last person a client interacts with. You will work closely with our professional piercers to create a seamless, comfortable and memorable experience from the moment the client walks through the door until they leave.
Responsibilities
- Sell high-quality body jewelry and piercing services
- Welcome clients with an enthusiastic, friendly and professional attitude
- Sign in piercing clients and assist them throughout their entire visit
- Work closely with piercers to ensure clients receive the correct service and jewelry
- Help nervous and first-time clients feel comfortable and confident
- Help customers select jewelry based on their piercing, anatomy, style and budget
- Confidently present premium jewelry, 14K gold and upgraded options
- Explain jewelry materials, styles, sizes and price points
- Educate customers about upgrades without being aggressive or pushy
- Understand and explain gauges, lengths, diameters, threading and jewelry styles
- Recommend jewelry for nostril, helix, tragus, conch, daith, eyebrow, lip, navel, septum and other piercings
- Discuss all types of body piercings comfortably, professionally and without judgment
- Make sure clients understand what to expect before their piercing
- Reinforce aftercare information and answer client questions
- Keep the front end organized so piercers can focus on providing safe, professional piercing services
- Create excitement around new jewelry, promotions, piercing specials and store events
- Sign up each customer for our Weekly Sale Text List and have them write a Google review
- Maintain clean, attractive and organized jewelry displays
- Answer customer questions in person and by phone
- Complete checkout while continuing to provide friendly, attentive service
- Ensure every customer leaves with a positive, memorable experience and feels excited to return

✔ Sales-focused while providing genuine, pressure-free customer service
✔ Dependable, trustworthy and able to work unsupervised when needed
✔ Reliable transportation
✔ Weekend availability is required
✔ Able to remain focused, organized and upbeat in a busy studio
✔ Genuine enthusiasm for the art of body piercing, jewelry, fashion and self-expression
Jewelry Knowledge Is a Big Plus
Previous body jewelry experience is strongly preferred. Knowledge of threaded and threadless jewelry, curved barbells, labrets, hinged hoops, nostril and navel jewelry, industrials, titanium, 14K gold, gemstones and diamonds is especially valuable.

Sales + Customer Service
This position is for someone who genuinely enjoys selling and working with people. You should be confident showing customers their options, recommending upgrades, explaining the value of premium jewelry and helping clients create a look they love.
We want confident salespeople—not pushy salespeople. Great sales come from excellent customer service, product knowledge, enthusiasm and listening to the customer.
At Finder’s Keepers, the piercing experience goes far beyond the piercing itself. From the initial greeting and jewelry selection to working with the piercer, answering questions, aftercare, checkout and goodbye, every interaction matters.
