Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our thriving financial services team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end processing of loan applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth loan origination processes, support underwriting teams, and uphold regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are key to helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Duties

Review and verify loan application documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy in accordance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and other regulatory requirements
Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to gather necessary information for loan approval
Prepare and submit loan packages for underwriting approval, adhering to TILA (Truth in Lending Act), Fair Housing regulations, and mortgage servicing standards
Analyze credit reports and financial statements to assess borrower eligibility and risk factors
Manage escrow accounts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations related to loans and mortgage agreements
Maintain detailed records of all processing activities, including inbound documentation, correspondence, and approval status updates
Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the loan process to ensure smooth workflow and timely closings

Skills

Strong knowledge of FNMA guidelines, underwriting procedures, and mortgage regulations such as TILA and Fair Housing laws
Experience in loan origination processes within the financial services or banking sectors
Proficiency in credit analysis, contract review, and mortgage servicing operations
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills including 10-key typing proficiency for data entry accuracy
Familiarity with escrow procedures, bank operations, and loan processing software systems
Ability to interpret complex financial documents and perform detailed credit assessments
