Full Job Description

This is a skilled trade position and is not open to past interviewees OR past employees.

There will be a 2-part interview, and you will be required to complete a drug screen.

Must be able to work Mon-Fri 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Some Overtime will be required
Prior military experience a plus

Must be able to obtain OSHA 10 card for "Maritime: Shipyard Employment".
Must be able to obtain DBIDS/ base access
Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Bench Technician and become a vital part of our technical service operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electronic and computer hardware components. Your expertise will ensure equipment functions flawlessly, supporting our mission to deliver top-tier service and solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, technical skills, and passion for equipment repair in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to grow.

Duties

The Bench Technician will assist in fabrication and repair of custom-built electronic equipment for shipboard wireless fire, heat, flood, casualty reporting and announcing systems. Systems are built, programmed and tested in the shop prior to deploying to the jobsite.

Experience

· Be able to trouble shoot and perform board repair of electronic equipment

· Must be proficient in soldering

· Proficient in building connectors (copper and RF)

· Proficient with various test equipment (RF Analyzers, watt meters, volt meters)

· Proficiently communicate technical data
