As the first hybrid detailing company in the Hampton Roads area with two in-shop locations and mobile service units, we combine hands-on technical training with real-world business experience. This opportunity is designed for ambitious individuals who want more than just a paycheck — people who want to understand how a successful company operates from the inside out.
This is a paid apprenticeship program where you’ll learn high-income automotive service skills while gaining exposure to business operations, customer acquisition, branding, workflow systems, leadership, and company growth. This program is designed for individuals seeking long-term career development. While compensation is competitive for an apprentice role, applicants should be comfortable investing in their professional growth in exchange for hands-on business training and advancement opportunities.
You will still perform hands-on detailing work daily, but unlike traditional jobs, you’ll also learn the foundation behind scaling and operating a service-based business.

Position Responsibilities
Apprentice Technician Duties
- Perform professional interior and exterior vehicle detailing
- Follow proper wash, drying, vacuuming, and decontamination procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Safely use detailing chemicals, tools, and equipment
- Assist with ceramic coatings and paint correction services once trained
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Support the team environment and daily workflow
Mobile Operations Duties
- Travel to customer locations when assigned
- Represent The Auto Spa professionally on-site
- Properly load and maintain mobile equipment and supplies
- Adapt to changing weather and work environments
- Deliver high-quality service with professionalism and consistency
Business Development Exposure
As apprentices progress, qualified team members may also gain exposure to:

Apprenticeship Disclaimer: The Auto Spa provides the training, mentorship, and opportunity—but your growth is your responsibility. Apprentices who consistently fail to demonstrate these qualities or meet our performance and conduct standards may have their apprenticeship ended at the company's discretion.
Pay: $12.50 - $22.50 per hour
