Job Duties and Preferred Qualifications:

Individual will perform clerical work in the Circuit Court Clerk's Office by providing customer service in a courteous and professional manner to the public and other agencies by answering telephones and assisting customers that come into the office, copying documents and operating general office equipment.

Civil and Criminal Department - duties could include, but are not limited to, properly filing paperwork concerning court cases, performing data entry, scanning and retrieval of documents, using a computerized indexing and imaging system. Operating the Supreme Court of Virginia's Case Management and Financial Management System.

Deed Department - duties could include, but are not limited to, reviewing documents relating to real estate prior to recording and calculating fees according to the Code of Virginia, scanning and indexing incoming documents into the land records system.
