Full Job Description

Account Manager

Location: Visalia, CA
Salary: $70,340–$100,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience
Schedule: Full-Time | 40+ hours per week
Classification: Exempt
Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Minimum 2 days per week in the Visalia-area office, with remaining time eligible to be worked from a home office

Position Summary

Key Staffing is recruiting for an Account Manager for a professional organization serving educational partners throughout California.

This position combines client relationship management, training, compliance, program analysis, and strategic account support. The Account Manager will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders at Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) and help clients successfully participate in reimbursement programs while maintaining applicable program compliance.

The Account Manager will conduct client meetings and trainings, monitor account performance, analyze program participation, resolve higher-level client concerns, and provide strategic recommendations designed to improve compliance, efficiency, and reimbursement outcomes.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesClient & Account Management

Assist new clients with onboarding and establish expectations regarding processes and best practices.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
Conduct regular virtual and in-person meetings with assigned LEAs.
Educate clients regarding program regulations, updates, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Deliver training to LEA staff regarding service logging, TSP lists, RMTS management, cost reporting, and compliance standards.
Provide additional client training as necessary to improve efficiency and program compliance.
Provide strategic guidance regarding program performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Review client participation and recommend strategies to maximize reimbursement opportunities while maintaining compliance.
Review and communicate findings from quarterly RMTS coding reports and provide recommendations when appropriate.
Ensure required program enrollment documents are completed and maintained.
Assist clients with transportation-service billing when requested.

Strategic Client Support

Serve as an escalation point when internal staff require assistance addressing client performance concerns.
Analyze client participation across reimbursement programs to identify opportunities to improve results.
Develop and implement strategies designed to increase reimbursement and strengthen program compliance.
Support internal staff with documentation required for program participation and claims submission.
Collaborate across departments to ensure clients receive consistent, high-quality service.

Program & Regulatory Knowledge

Attend assigned DHCS trainings, conferences, and workshops.
Maintain current knowledge of applicable DHCS program regulations.
Research regulatory and program information as needed.
Monitor DHCS communications to remain current regarding program practices and processes.
Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant software and billing practices.
Help ensure client practices remain compliant with applicable DHCS regulations and LEC/LGA guidelines.
Maintain a basic understanding of CRCS and its relationship to effective program implementation.
Communicate important program updates to clients and internal staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and/or an equivalent combination of related professional experience.
1–3 years of customer service experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to build professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Comfortable conducting client meetings, presentations, and training.
Ability to analyze information and provide strategic recommendations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while working independently.
Ability to work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
Ability and willingness to travel to client locations, trainings, conferences, events, and company meetings as needed, including occasional overnight travel.
