Highly rated optometry practice in Temecula is seeking a customer oriented and experienced optician to handle the front office patient interaction. The position is challenging but a fulfilling one. Candidates must have the drive and aptitude to build their professional skills to be an effective member of the growing Optometry practice. We are invested in the business, provide incentive games for our staff, and the hours are great! Applicants must have a "can do" attitude, be a problem solver, be solutions oriented and have a sales skill set.
Some of the functions will include, but not limited to:
· Managing phones, scheduling appointments, greeting guests.
· Insurance verification and billing vision & health insurance plans.
· Help select styles of eyewear for our patients that are aesthetically pleasing and high quality to ensure patient satisfaction.
· Review lenses and options that will provide the best vision for the patients’ needs.
· Train patients on the insertion, removal, and care of contact lenses.
· Dispense, adjust, and repair eyeglasses.
· Exam room and front office upkeep.
The person we are looking for must have the following attributes:

· Two plus years of opticianry experience is preferred but not required.
· Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
· Strong sales skills and experience, with unwaivering commitment to the sale of quality over cost. Intrest in increasing overall company revenue to aid the practice in reinvesting into the company to provide better services, products, and increase staff wages.
Ability to handle all situations in a diplomatic manner where patients consistently ask for free samples of product etc.
Familiar or easily adaptable to in house optometry specific software
