Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef / Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.
Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation to enhance guest satisfaction.
Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing leadership and guidance to ensure smooth operations.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards.
Coordinate with catering and banquet departments for special events and large-scale food production.
Monitor food quality during service periods, making adjustments as necessary to meet quality standards.
Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards.
Assist in shift management duties, including scheduling staff and managing workflow during busy periods.
Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong culinary skills.
Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Expertise in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills.
Experience in inventory management and control to optimize food costs.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
Ability to manage shift operations effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and management.
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including food service management and restaurant operations.
