Overview:
As our HR Generalist, you'll serve as a trusted partner to managers and employees, providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational initiatives. In this role, you'll help translate business objectives into effective people strategies while ensuring compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
You'll play a key role in shaping workplace culture, supporting organizational growth, and ensuring employees have the tools and support they need to succeed.
This is an on-site role located in Taoma, WA

Job Description:
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Serve as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation.

Support the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding activities.

Advise leaders on HR best practices while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Partner with business leaders to support organizational goals through employee engagement, change management, talent initiatives, and workforce planning.

Facilitate employee relations and labor relations matters, helping resolve issues fairly, consistently, and in alignment with company policies.

Administer HR programs and processes, including benefits, compensation, payroll support, leave administration, wellbeing initiatives, and return-to-work programs.

Maintain HR systems, records, reporting, and analytics while identifying opportunities to improve processes, policies, and the overall employee experience.
Job Requirements:
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, employment law, HR policies, and human resources best practices.

Ability to build trusted relationships and effectively collaborate with employees, leaders, and stakeholders across multiple locations and organizational levels.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, HRIS platforms, and workforce reporting tools, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE

SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.

Starting salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year.
