New Tech Solutions is an industry leading, top 100 fastest growing company in the Public Sector IT sales. We are looking for a motivated and high performing Outside Sales Representative / Account Executive to join our team, focusing on the State, Local, and Education (SLED) market. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-growth environment where you will manage key public sector accounts, utilize cooperative purchasing agreements, and provide innovative technology solutions that make a positive impact on government and education.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years in a technology sales or public sector sales role. Experience working within the SLED market is highly preferred. MUST have experience with selling hardware, software, cloud solution, and services to Government via Federal or Co-operative contracts (such as OMNI Partners, NASPO, Texas-DIR, and other state and local county, City contracts and Federal GWAC, IDIQ contracts)
Industry experience with Value -add Reseller sales model would be a plus. Position can be remote work location.

Demonstrated success in exceeding quotas and managing long, complex sales cycles.

Skills:

Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
Expertise in government procurement processes and familiarity with cooperative contracts is a major advantage.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales and Revenue Growth:

Own and execute a sales plan to exceed revenue and growth targets within the SLED vertical.
Identify and close opportunities within public sector accounts, leveraging a consultative sales approach.
Manage long sales cycles while maintaining focus on pipeline growth and deal velocity.

Customer-Centric Engagement:

Build trusted relationships with government agencies and educational institutions, understanding their unique challenges and objectives.
Deliver tailored technology solutions that align with customer priorities, including budget constraints and procurement timelines.

Master Cooperative Contracts:

Navigate and optimize cooperative purchasing agreements such as Omnia Partners, NASPO ValuePoint, and Texas DIR.
Educate customers on contract benefits and ensure smooth procurement processes.

Collaborate for Success:

Partner with OEMs and internal teams to design and present comprehensive solutions.
Align with marketing and business development teams to drive targeted campaigns and events.

Be an Industry Expert:

Stay informed about public sector trends, technology advancements, and competitive offerings.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and webinars to build credibility and generate leads.
