Join Our Team as a Family Intervention Specialist!

Position: Family Intervention Specialist (FIS) Bilingual Preferred

Location: Waco, TX, Temple, TX and Killeen, TX

About the Role:

As a Family Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing Family Check Up (FCU) and Texas Home Visit (THV) services to families in need. Here's what you'll be doing:

Complete all requirements to be certified in the FCU time model within EVP timeline.
Participate in team supervision for case reviews and feedback sessions.
Utilize the FCU model to provide THV, ensuring fidelity and adherence to evidence-based practices.
Conduct family and individual sessions in clients' homes, spending an average of 1 hour per week, promoting safety, permanency, and well-being.
Conduct strengths-based assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions to meet family needs.
Complete all documentation, including FCU fidelity documents, in a timely manner.
Provide transportation, assist with access to psychiatric services, and help families build support networks.
Promote youth success in school, empower parents to advocate for educational needs, and attend related meetings and court proceedings as needed.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field preferred
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
Experience in family intervention or related roles preferred.
Certification in FCU time model or willingness to complete certification.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
