Chaparral is seeking Mechanical Insulators to join our team in multiple states and cities. This position involves work on commercial and light industrial projects, with responsibilities including insulating HVAC ducts, HVAC piping, plumbing systems, and mechanical equipment.
This role is not limited to a single job site—work is spread across multiple locations. Candidates must be open to traveling within their region, with occasional additional travel as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Install insulation on HVAC ductwork, piping, and mechanical systems
- Work with a variety of insulation materials and applications
- Follow project specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Collaborate with team members and project leadership to complete jobs efficiently
Qualifications:
- Experience in mechanical insulation (commercial/light industrial preferred)
- Experience is a plus, but Chaparral is willing to train motivated and qualified applicants
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to pass random drug testing
- Must have own basic tools (tool belt, tape measure, hand tools, knife, end cutters, aviation snips, dividers, scissors)

- Armaflex Pipe Covering and Sheeting
- Foamglass Insulation
- Phenolic Insulation
- Urethane Insulation
- PVC or Aluminum Jacketing
