# Clinical Director (BCBA)

**Location:** Waco, Texas

**Salary:** $90,000-$95,000 per year, plus quarterly bonus potential

**Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

**Work Arrangement:** Clinic-based with one remote workday per week

## Clinical Director Job Overview

Healthcare Recruiters International is recruiting a Clinical Director for a growing ABA clinic in Waco, Texas.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst to lead a clinical team while maintaining a small caseload and approximately 12 billable hours per week. The position is ideal for a BCBA leader who wants to focus on clinical quality, staff development, ethical ABA practices, and positive outcomes for children and families.

The Clinical Director will oversee clinical operations, mentor BCBAs, support team development, and ensure that treatment services meet organizational, professional, and regulatory standards. Dedicated operational and clinical quality teams provide additional support, allowing the Clinical Director to focus on leadership and clinical excellence.

## Compensation and Benefits

- $90,000-$95,000 base salary

- Quarterly bonus potential of up to $2,500

## Schedule and Clinical Expectations

- Monday-Friday schedule

- Typical hours of 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

- No evenings or weekends

- One remote workday per week

- Small caseload of approximately 2-3 clients

- Approximately 12 billable hours per week

- Dedicated operational support

- Dedicated Clinical Quality support

## Clinical Director Responsibilities

- Lead the clinic’s clinical operations and treatment-delivery standards

- Supervise, mentor, and support BCBAs and other clinical team members

- Review and approve treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and clinical recommendations

- Ensure treatment programs follow evidence-based practices and BACB ethical standards

- Monitor treatment quality, clinical documentation, and protocol fidelity

- Conduct clinical observations and quality-assurance reviews

- Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development to clinical staff

- Oversee BCBA training and development initiatives

- Support the recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and retention of clinical team members

- Participate in client intake, assessment, and treatment-planning processes

- Collaborate with families, caregivers, clinical staff, and interdisciplinary partners

- Maintain a limited direct clinical caseload

- Monitor clinic performance and support achievement of clinical and operational goals

- Promote a collaborative, accountable, and client-centered clinic culture

- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, payer requirements, and applicable regulations

## Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in behavior analysis or a related field

- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification in good standing

- Current Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst credential or ability to obtain Texas licensure

- At least five years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities

- At least one year of professional experience as a BCBA

- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

- Effective leadership, communication, and organizational abilities

- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based, family-centered ABA services

## Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supervising BCBAs or multidisciplinary clinical teams

- Experience reviewing treatment plans and clinical documentation

- Experience with quality assurance and clinical performance improvement

- Experience recruiting, training, and developing clinical staff

- Experience supporting clinic performance goals and key performance indicators
