Full Job Description

Cottonwood Creek Veterinary Hospital is a family owned & operated, full service mixed animal veterinary hospital. We provide services for all species (except venomous animals) and aim to provide top level care to every patient we see, while providing top level customer service to our clients. We are a three-location practice with our primary location in Waco, as well as our Woodway & Groesbeck locations. We are a rapidly growing practice who is seeking the right candidates to join our team as we continue to add to our ever-growing family. We are an eclectic mix of personalities that love what we do. We work hard together and succeed as a “family”, even in the most stressful of times. Our receptionists are the friendly faces and warm personalities that greet our clients when they are bringing their animals in to our facility. They are the first line for all the care we provide while their animals are with us, whether they be in for just a visit or need to stay with us. We are seeking a candidate that is driven and focused to aide us in our goal of helping every patient and client to the best of our abilities. Our clients are a huge, important part of our family and we want them to be welcomed and feel comfortable with their pet's care provider and facility. We are a fast-paced facility who strives to provide every client & patient with the best care possible and works very well together as a team.

Responsibilities for our front desk staff include (but are not limited to): answering phones, greeting and checking in clients, completing paperwork, scheduling appointments and surgeries, charging out clients, collecting payments and deposits, reviewing and attaching medical records from other facilities, balancing the cash drawer and end of day report, assisting clients with recommendations of care, preventatives, vaccinations, etc, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness of the hospital throughout the day, loading patients and clients in exam rooms, directing clients to appropriate areas of the facility, and assisting the technicians and assistants with their duties. The position will primarily be based out of our Waco location, however some rotation to our Woodway location is required. We are seeking both part-time and full-time applicants and there is always room for advancement with our company as we continue to grow. Veterinary experience is not required but will be preferred.
