Full Job Description

Are you a meticulous planner with a knack for keeping production on track and customers satisfied? Join our client as a crucial member of their team, where you'll coordinate manufacturing schedules, manage inventory, and serve as the key contact for customer accounts. Your expertise will ensure their manufacturing departments operate smoothly, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional service—all while working within a dynamic production environment.

What You’ll Do:

Create and maintain daily/weekly production schedules
Coordinate with purchasing, production supervisors, and shipping to meet customer due dates
Prioritize jobs based on customer demand and machine capacity, adjusting schedules as needed for downtime or material shortages
Release manufacturing orders into the ERP system and balance workload across multiple machines and shifts
Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts, providing order updates, processing changes, and addressing concerns
Monitor raw materials and finished goods inventory levels, collaborating with purchasing and forecasting demand

Required Skills:

Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably IQMS or similar manufacturing software
Excellent organizational and scheduling skills
Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
Problem-solving skills to handle machine downtime, supply issues, and urgent customer requests
Knowledge of manufacturing and inventory processes

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with production planning for manufacturing environments
Customer service experience in a manufacturing or supply chain setting
Familiarity with procurement and inventory management systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher preferred
2+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or related roles, especially within manufacturing environments
