Work Schedule:
(35 hours/week)(5-day work week)
Monday (2:00pm to 9:30pm)
Tuesday (2:00pm to 9:30pm)
Wednesday (2:00pm to 9:30pm)
Thursday (2:00pm to 9:30pm)
Friday (2:00pm to 9:30pm)
Saturday (OFF)
Sunday (OFF)

Starting Salary:
$45,760/year

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EXPECTATIONS:

Highly motivated and driven for success
Ability to handle tremendously fast-paced environments and multi-task (including ability to prioritize work)
Acute attention to detail
At least 5 years proven recent experience as a medical receptionist
Solid experience in information technology (e.g.: computers, software, and other technology related areas)
At least 3 years recent experience in either an EMR or EHR system
Intermediate to advanced in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Moderate to fast typing skills (40-80 wpm or more)
Able to be proactive
Able to keep cool under pressure and always maintain a positive and motivated attitude
Ability to pass a typing test and potentially other tests during the interview process (e.g.: MS Office, etc.)

Preferred Experience & Expectations: (not required)

Experience in the mental health industry
Experience with an electronic health records (EHR) platform
Bachelors degree or higher

Roles & Responsibilities:

Greets clients and ascertains name and other pertinent information (e.g.: insurance card processing/verification) while also notifying appropriate clinician of client’s arrival
Answers main telephone line, determining if caller can be helped based on need or whether they need to be routed to another staff member, as appropriate
Accurately takes and delivers messages, while maintaining logs of all calls requiring further action
Responsible for inventory tracking and re-ordering of office supplies
Assists Vice President & CIO with research duties and responsibilities
Maintains and manages new and existing client data not limited to electronic records/files and digital paperwork (some physical paperwork)
Handles the conversion of physical paperwork into a digital format, attaching to the appropriate network folder, client file, or other
Handles onsite and over the phone payment processing
Performs a variety of routine clerical tasks (may include processing of incoming and outgoing mail, sending and delivering FAX messages, arranging for and maintaining logs for package pickup and delivery, photocopying and collating, etc.), as time permits
Assures that reception area is clean and orderly
Responsible for opening or closing the office location (if not already done)
