Role Summary

Morrison Millwork specializes in the distribution and retail sales of premium windows and doors for luxury residential projects throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Consultant based out of our Raleigh, NC showroom to grow our presence and drive sales throughout Raleigh-Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Apex, Wake Forest, and surrounding communities. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening existing customer relationships, and serving as a trusted partner to contractors, builders, architects, designers, and other professionals in the residential construction industry.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, creating new opportunities, and delivering premium window and door solutions that help clients achieve exceptional results. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their business, follows through on commitments, collaborates with others, and represents Morrison Millwork with integrity and excellence.

Responsibilities

Proactively develop new clients through cold calling, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach.
Identify and pursue opportunities with architects, trade organizations, general contractors, subcontractors, designers, and other key decision-makers.
Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships by providing exceptional service, demonstrating genuine care, and serving as a trusted resource throughout the sales process.
Consistently follow up on leads, projects, and client inquiries, taking ownership of commitments and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
Prepare detailed estimates and proposals, recommending appropriate products and solutions based on client needs and project requirements.
Collaborate with Sales Support, Service, Business Development, and Operations teams to create a seamless client experience from the initial opportunity through project completion.
Negotiate contracts and close agreements that support company profitability while delivering value and maintaining strong client relationships.
Stay current on new product launches, innovations, industry trends, and market developments to provide clients and partners with knowledgeable guidance.
Manage customer accounts responsibly, including tracking receivables, addressing billing issues, and helping ensure timely payments.

Requirements

Proven sales experience, preferably in the building materials, construction, architectural, or luxury residential industry.
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the needs of the client and project.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle.
Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
