Full Job Description

Position Overview:

PRN, part-time, or full-time Occupational Therapist position located in WaKeeney, Kansas
Both inpatient and outpatient within a community based hospital setting with home health
Population mix is diverse from school kids to adult geriatrics
Pay rate: $42-$52/hour, depending on experience
Flexible $12,000 Career Bonus: You’ll earn up to $12,000 in additional financial benefits over your first three years — use it for retention bonus, sign-on bonus, or student loan repayment, or your personal development

Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities:

Assess and treat patients
Complete documentation
Plan, market and develop new programs
Communicate with patients, patients’ families and physicians and staff
Present in-services to fellow staff therapists
Assist in the general operation of the department
Supervise COTA’s in accordance to state regulations as necessary

Occupational Therapist Job Requirements:

Bachelors (B.A., B.S.) or Master's degree (M.A., M.S.) or Doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy
Graduate of a certified occupational therapy program
Possess or be eligible for state licensure
