POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that all hot tubs and components meet company and customer quality standards. This role performs inspections, audits, and testing of raw materials, in-process assemblies, and finished hot tubs. The Quality Technician assists in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts to maintain compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements. The Quality Technician also collaborates with Engineering to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives within hot tub manufacturing operations.

Essential Functions:
· Performs incoming inspections of raw materials (HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), pumps, plumbing, electrical components, etc.) to verify conformance to specifications.
· Conducts in-process inspections of hot tub assemblies, including plumbing, electrical, structural, and finishing processes.
· Performs final product testing, including water tests, electrical safety checks, and cosmetic inspections to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
· Documents and escalate nonconformities, assist in root cause analysis, and support corrective/preventive action processes.
· Maintains inspection records and quality documentation according to ISO and company requirements.
· Assists production teams with quality-related concerns and provide feedback for process improvements.
· Collaborates with Engineering and Production to resolve design or process issues.
· Participates in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects, improving reliability, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
· Performs other duties, as assigned by management.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training in quality and manufacturing is preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in plumbing, electrical or related industries preferred.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office. - Excel is a must. Experience with ERP systems preferred.
Certificates & Licenses: None required. Quality-related certifications or electrical/mechanical certifications preferred.
Other Requirements:
· Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, gauges, electrical meters).
· Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems preferred.

Other Physical Requirements: Must wear closed-toed shoes, protective eye wear and hearing protection. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds on a regular basis. Any other PPE that is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in the manufacturing facility. May experience temperature extremes during shift. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Working around dust and machinery with moving parts.
