Full Job Description

Birchview Gardens Assisted Living is now accepting applications for our new facility in Walker.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Birchview Gardens Assisted Living Inc. is accepting applications for Resident Caregivers/PCAs for the day and night shifts in our beautiful Walker facility. The person filling the position will be responsible for providing personal care and delegated nursing services for our residents.

SKILLS AND DUTIES:

We are looking for job applicants that exhibit great communication skills, strong work ethic and team-player attitudes. Duties include medication passing, bathing, dressing, grooming, cleaning, and ambulation assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Care Attendant is preferred but not required. If you have no experience and feel that this is the career that you would like to pursue then please contact us and we will provide all the training at no cost to you.

COMPENSATION:

Wages at Birchview Gardens are competitive and depend upon experience. Please contact us to discuss the details.

Duties:

Reading, writing, and carrying out directions
Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Charting or taking notes for others to review
Providing companionship and supportive listening
Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
Taking vitals, height, and weight
Feeding clients
Maintaining patient’s health equipment
Responding to emergency situations
Administering medication
Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
Light housekeeping, garbage collection, maintaining a clean environment

Pay Frequency:

Biweekly

Work Remotely

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 48 per week
