Travel Hospice RN

Location: Walla Walla, WA
Contract: 8 Weeks
Shift: Days | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 32 Hours/Week
Experience: 1+ Year Current Hospice Case Management
License: Active Washington or Compact RN License
Certification: BLS (AHA)

Job Summary

Cambay Healthcare is seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week travel assignment in Walla Walla, Washington. The ideal candidate will have current hospice case management experience and be comfortable providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients and families throughout the end-of-life journey.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a hospice caseload of approximately 15 patients.
Complete approximately 4–5 patient visits per day, depending on location and patient acuity.
Complete all required documentation on the same day.
Provide all levels of hospice nursing care, including Routine, GIP, Continuous, and Respite services.
Perform hospice admissions, SIA visits, and death visits.
Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow hospice care standards.
Travel throughout the service area as needed to provide patient care.

Requirements

1+ year of current Hospice Case Management experience required
Active Washington or Compact RN license required
BLS from the American Heart Association required
Active driver's license and reliable vehicle required
Valid auto insurance required
Acute/Med Surg experience highly preferred
Oregon RN license strongly encouraged; clinicians may float to Oregon sites
Application for Oregon licensure is required upon accepting the contract
