Full Job Description

Growing food manufacturer seeks a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position involves handling a variety of accounting functions with a focus on accounts payable. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate a solid understanding of financial processes. This is an onsite position; reliability is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurately receive verify and enter accounts payable invoices
Execute 3-way match for all invoices
Process check runs under the supervision of management
Communicate effectively with vendors and resolve any discrepancies related to billing or payments
Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, analyze, and manage financial data
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable
Maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information
Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and other accounting functions as needed
Support internal and external audits by gathering and organizing required documentation

Required Knowledge and Abilities:

QuickBooks Experience
Proficiency in Excel is required. General office software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite
Must possess positive written and verbal communication skills.
Ability Interact effectively with staff of all levels.
Analyze and solve problems effectively and efficiently.
Manage priorities to meet deadlines and demonstrate multi-tasking skills.
Ability to use arms, hands and fingers to reach and grasp.
Must be able to perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and lifting of at least 20 pounds.
Understand and observe all company safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
