Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake/Forming Operator in a float role to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating press brakes and other forming equipment to shape stainless-steel components used in outdoor kitchen products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Program, set up, and operate CNC press brakes (experience with Cincinnati brakes and controls is a plus).

· Bending light-gauge stainless steel material to exacting standards.

· Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

· Translate blueprint information into accurate machine setups.

· Use calipers, machinist squares, and other precision measuring instruments to verify part accuracy.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.

· Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor maintenance.

· Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met.

· Prepare materials for forming, including deburring, labeling, and staging.

· Move raw materials and finished parts safely using carts or pallet jacks.

· Assist with cutting or shearing operations as needed.

· Verify part dimensions with measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.

· Ensure all formed parts meet required tolerances and visual standards.

· Identify and communicate any defects, material issues, or equipment concerns.

· Help maintain production schedules by supporting bottleneck areas.

· Perform general shop duties including cleaning, organizing, and staging materials.

· Collaborate with team members and follow standard work procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and programming CNC press brakes.

· Proficiency in programming, setting up, and operating CNC press brakes, specifically bending light-gauge material.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

· Experience using calipers, machinist squares, and other precision measuring instruments.

· Experience with Cincinnati brakes and controls is a plus.

· Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
