Administrative Assistant to District Administrator

Job Summary

The Winnie-Stowell Hospital District is seeking a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to support the District Administrator with daily administrative operations, document management, scheduling, communication coordination, completing prepared check deposits and general office support.

Responsibilities include assisting with meeting preparation, organizing digital and physical records, maintaining consistent document processes, supporting administrative workflows, coordinating communications, and assisting with operational tasks across multiple District functions. As well as supporting the growing administrative needs associated with the District’s partnerships with approximately 80 nursing facilities.

This position works heavily in Adobe Acrobat/PDFs, Excel, Gmail Business, and Dropbox. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, professionalism, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are important.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, professional, willing to learn, and comfortable handling confidential information with discretion.

While the District operates within the healthcare field and healthcare terminology is frequently used, this is an administrative office environment and not a direct patient care setting.

Experience supporting executives, leadership, or Boards highly preferred.
