Full Job Description

Location: Orlando, FL
Job Type: Full-Time - In Person

We are seeking a mid-level Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Orlando. This position will typically handle the end-to-end accounting process for a portfolio of community associations as well as bookkeeping for the company. Duties span the entire general ledger, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing, as well as preparing financial statements, month-end close procedures, and tax filings Candidates must have at least 3 years of full charge bookkeeping experience. Community or property management portfolio accounting experience, is preferred. The specific responsibilities for this role include:

Core Accounting & Daily Operations
Full Cycle Accounting

Handle full-cycle bookkeeping - Manage the complete accounting cycle, from processing vendor invoices to creating customer billing and ensuring timely collections.
Reconciliations - Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Payroll Processing - Run payroll, ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws, and handling payroll deductions

Financial Reporting & Compliance

Financial Statements: Prepare, review, and analyze crucial reports like trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets for upper management.
Month-End/Year-End Close: Manage the month-end closing process and preparing necessary internal documents for annual tax filings and audits.
Local Compliance: Handling state and local tax filings (e.g., Florida corporate income taxes, sales and use tax, and tangible personal property tax).

Required Tools & Software

Accounting Software: QuickBooks (Desktop & Online), Xero or similar software.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software: Enumerate, Caliber or similar community association portfolio softwares is a plus.
Spreadsheets: Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities including pivot tables and vlookups is a plus.

Applicant must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines. Compensation $22.00 to $26.50 per hour ($45,760–$55,120 annually), based on experience, certifications and qualifications.
