Master’s-Level Therapist – Children & AdolescentsElevate Counseling Services | Franklin, MA | Full-Time Fee-for-Service

Looking for a practice where you can grow as a clinician—not just build a caseload?

Elevate Counseling Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Master’s-level therapist to join our collaborative Franklin team. This position focuses on working with children, adolescents, and adults beginning at age 5, with opportunities to develop your clinical interests and specialty areas.

We are particularly interested in clinicians with experience in outpatient mental health, In-Home Therapy (IHT), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), hospitals, community mental health, or other higher-acuity settings. Experience in an outpatient mental health setting during or after graduate school is required.

What You'll Do

Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults
Conduct initial intakes, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and medical necessity
Utilize developmentally appropriate, evidence-based, and strength-based approaches
Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and families
Monitor client progress and ongoing medical necessity
Complete timely and accurate documentation in our Electronic Health Record
Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, referral sources, billing, supervisors, and clinical team members
Participate in weekly individual and group supervision
Participate in team meetings, trainings, and organizational events
Maintain appropriate documentation of supervision hours, when applicable
Follow ethical, HIPAA, and Elevate Counseling Services standards

Your Clinical Experience Matters

Outpatient mental health
In-Home Therapy (IHT)
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)
Hospital or inpatient settings
Community mental health
Crisis or higher-acuity behavioral health

Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or complex clinical presentations is strongly valued.

Experience or training in play therapy, expressive therapy, CBT, trauma-informed care, Synergetic Play Therapy, or other therapeutic approaches is welcomed.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counselor Education, or a related field
Experience providing mental health services in an outpatient setting during or after graduate school required
Degree must be eligible for Massachusetts licensure, with the clinician actively working toward required clinical hours for LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or applicable equivalent licensure
Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while also being an active member of a collaborative clinical team
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Computer proficiency and ability to utilize an Electronic Health Record
Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Schedule

This is a full-time, fee-for-service position requiring availability 4–5 days per week.

Scheduling will include a combination of the following shifts:

11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Flexibility is important due to the scheduling needs of children, adolescents, and families.
