Tailored Landscapes and Tailored Lights are growing and looking for those with experience in landscaping and construction to join our team! We offer a professional and family-like work environment. We are willing to train and develop skills around learning about plants, horticulture, construction, and equipment use, although experience in these areas is preferred. A foreman for Tailored Landscapes must be able to lead a team in planning, overseeing, and executing all types of landscaping projects including
Softscape and Hardscape installation including but not limited to flagstone, planting, mulching, maintenance and paving.

Qualifications
- Landscaping or Construction Experience: Crew - 1 year (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR (Preferred)
- English or Spanish Speaking
- Willingness to work a varied Monday-Friday daylight schedule with potential overtime.
- Reliable in attendance and good communication skills a must
- Education in the areas of Horticulture, Landscaping, or Landscape Design preferred but experience may substitute for formal education.
JOB DESCRIPTION CREW: Required Experience / Skills
- Preferred-Minimum 1-year professional landscaping experience, nursery work, horticulture, or construction experience.
- Valid Driver’s License and Clean MVR (Preferred)
- Able to work outside in all Nebraska weather conditions including heat, rain, snow at temperatures 0 -100 degrees.
- Able to lift, bend, carry a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Demonstrate an energetic, motivated, and friendly personality with good communication and customer service skills.
- Experience preferred in driving a pickup truck with trailer (5th wheel and bumper hitch), Bobcat,
Excavator, Dump Truck
- Some knowledge of plant/tree id and general maintenance experience preferred.
- Self-starter, dependable and independent thinker that keeps a pace.
- Professional clean appearance, adheres to the Company work attire, proven organizational skills and willing to work in a team environment.
- Detail conscious individuals excel.

Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $23.00
JOB DESCRIPTION CREW LEAD / FOREMAN: Required Experience / Skills
- Minimum 2 years professional landscape/construction foreman experience or 3 years landscape/construction crew with some prior leadership experience (i.e. Landscape foreman, assistant, manager, supervisor or other leadership role in any industry)
- Ability to read, understand and execute landscape/construction design drawings.
- Coordinates and manages projects, worksite and crew to completion including final inspection.
- Capable of multi-tasking and staying organized.
- Completes project summary daily, expense tracking, records, and receipts.
- Must be comfortable leading and giving direction to a team including motivating and provide feedback. Directly responsible for leading others in task to completion of job
- Knowledge of landscape plant/tree ID and routine maintenance needs of items
- Clean MVR and valid driver’s license
- Experience in driving a pickup truck with trailer (5th wheel and bumper hitch), Bobcat, Excavator,
Dump Truck and operating other equipment of the business.
- Energetic, motivated, and friendly personality with good communication and customer service skills
- Keeps the supervisor informed of progress and obstacles without being prompted.
- Serves as “on-site” contact for clients.
- Self-starter, independent thinking leader that works well with others.
- Preferred experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) QuickBooks knowledge is a plus.
- Strives to continually improve performance and increase knowledge, education, and industry awareness.
