We help organizations using platforms like Genesys Cloud, Mitel, Zoom, and RingCentral turn complex interaction data into clear, actionable insight — without waiting on IT or relying on rigid native reporting.
We're hiring an Account Executive for our East Territory (east of the Mississippi) to sell Brightmetrics across our full platform portfolio. You'll own the full sales cycle from first conversation through close, typically working deals in the $20K–$60K ARR range. You'll work two complementary motions: selling directly to contact center and UC operations teams, and building relationships with platform sales reps and integration partners, Including EMEA-based partner teams, to generate co-sell pipeline.
This isn't a role where you inherit a book of business and maintain it. You'll self-source pipeline through outbound prospecting, earn trust with partners who have no obligation to work with you, and convert that trust into a steady flow of deals. You'll have a defined territory, a product with clear differentiation, and a team that supports you without micromanaging you.
You'll also maintain direct ownership of a small number of your largest enterprise accounts post-sale, managing those renewals and relationships while the rest of your book transitions to customer success.
We're a small, focused team where individual contribution is visible and matters. We're launching a new platform integration, restructuring our sales teams around a growing multi-platform portfolio, and shipping AI-powered features later this year. You'd be joining at a point where the trajectory is set but the work of scaling is still ahead — and the right person will help write the playbook, not just run it.
What You'll Do-
Prospect outbound across your territory through cold outreach, LinkedIn, and industry events, building pipeline alongside co-sell opportunities from platform partners

Build and maintain relationships with platform sales reps and integration partners across Genesys, Mitel, Zoom, and RingCentral

Coordinate with EMEA-based platform partner teams to support cross-border co-sell opportunities

Identify and engage contact center operations teams struggling with reporting, visibility, and operational insight

Run discovery calls and demos that connect analytics outcomes to the problems prospects actually have

Manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles across operations, IT, and leadership

Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success to sharpen messaging and improve how we go to market

Requirements

Experience carrying a quota in a SaaS or B2B sales role — you don't need a decade of closes, but you need to have owned a sales cycle and know what that actually takes

Energy and competitive drive to build pipeline from scratch through outbound prospecting, networking, and partner relationships

The ability to have real conversations with prospects — listening to what they need, not just running through a pitch deck

Coachability and a genuine desire to get better at your craft

Willingness to travel roughly 20% for partner events, vendor meetings, and customer visits
Some items that will make you stand out but aren't required:
- Experience with a structured sales methodology (SPICED, MEDDIC, Challenger)

Selling an add-on or overlay product alongside a primary vendor

Working with channel partners, or selling into contact centers or the UC/CCaaS space.

Comfortable using AI tools (like Claude) to speed up prospecting, research, and administrative work.

Based in or near the Eastern time zone (Central time zone considered for the right candidate) to support territory coverage and occasional early calls with EMEA-based partners

On-target earnings: $165K–$180K at quota ($100K base + uncapped commissions with accelerators above quota)
