Plymouth Dermatology Associates | Plymouth, MA

For nearly 30 years, Plymouth Dermatology Associates has been providing Medical, Surgical, and Cosmetic Dermatology Services to Plymouth and the surrounding South Shore Communities. Known for its patient-centered approach and dedication to high-quality care, Plymouth Dermatology Associates continues to grow while maintaining the personalized experience patients have come to trust.

We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and experienced Medical Assistant to provide essential support to our providers and patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within dermatology, and will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role is essential in supporting our Mohs surgeons during surge periods while ensuring patients receive the highest level of care. The Medical Assistant is responsible for a variety of patient care, technical, and clinical duties.

Key Responsibilities

Perform patient intake including reviewing and documenting medical history, current medications and waivers.
Prepare examination rooms by ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient visits. This will include inventory of supplies.
Rooming patients and preparing patients for examination/procedure as appropriate.
Assist providers with procedures as directed
Ensure safe handling and disposition of instruments and equipment.

Requirements:

Qualifications

Certified as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified as a Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
Previous experience in a clinic setting is preferred, particularly dermatology.
Strong understanding of medical terminology
Experience scribing or documenting visit in real time
Ability to work effectively as a team member and maintain professionalism at all times

Schedule

Full-time
Monday-Friday
Daytime hours aligned with practice operations
No weekends

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary based on experience, RN Candidates $25.00 to $35.00. MA Candite's $20.00 to $30.00
