Position Summary
The Chiropractic Assistant plays a key role in both patient care and clinic operations. This is an active, hands-on position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
While your primary focus will be at the front desk, you will also be cross-trained to assist with one-on-one patient care in our therapy room. This includes placing patients on therapies, removing them once treatment is complete, rooming patients, and maintaining smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
Front desk responsibilities include answering phones, checking patients in and out, collecting payments, maintaining daily logs, and managing new patient intake and paperwork.
Chiropractic experience is not required. However, prior experience working in a medical or healthcare clinic setting is required.
Responsibilities
Front Desk Support
- Assist with patient scheduling and appointment coordination
- Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately
- Collect payments and maintain daily transaction logs
- Manage new patient intake and scheduling
- Welcome patients and serve as the first impression of the clinic
- Assist new patients with self check-in procedures
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Explain therapy procedures and options as needed
- Escort and room patients for appointments
- Place patients on therapies and remove them upon completion
- Monitor patient comfort and communicate concerns to providers
- Maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic
Clinic Operations
- Clean, sanitize, and organize therapy equipment
- Stock treatment areas with necessary supplies
- Maintain a clean and welcoming clinic environment
- Perform end-of-day cleaning tasks (trash, restroom checks, etc.)
- Assist with additional clinic duties as needed
Team Culture
- Work collaboratively with providers and staff
- Contribute to a positive, professional workplace culture
- Step in wherever needed to support clinic flow
- Take initiative to identify and complete tasks
Qualifications
- Required: Prior experience in a medical, chiropractic, physical therapy, dental, or other healthcare clinic setting
- Required: High School Diploma
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (phone and typing assessments may be conducted)
- Positive, professional, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Dependable, punctual, and consistent work ethic
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
