Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented RN Test Observer to join our team in supporting standardized testing environments. The RN Test Observer plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity, security, and smooth administration of testing sessions. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to educational compliance. As an RN Test Observer, you will oversee test administration procedures, support students with disabilities, and ensure adherence to testing regulations while maintaining confidentiality and fostering a positive testing experience for all participants.

Duties

Supervise standardized testing sessions to ensure compliance with all testing protocols and regulations
Monitor test-takers during exams, providing support for students with disabilities or special needs as required
Verify test materials and secure testing environments before, during, and after exams
Assist in the setup and breakdown of testing stations using online testing platforms and other technological tools
Document testing procedures, incidents, and irregularities accurately in detailed reports
Communicate effectively with students, educators, and administrators regarding testing procedures and issues
Maintain confidentiality of all test materials and student information in accordance with educational regulations

Skills

Supervising experience in educational or testing environments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting
Experience administering standardized tests using online platforms or digital tools
Knowledge of school legal requirements related to standardized testing and student privacy laws
Strong customer service skills to support students during testing sessions
Understanding of educational assessment administration and disability support services
Excellent communication and writing skills for clear documentation and instructions
Technical proficiency with online testing platforms and classroom technology
Organizational skills to manage multiple test sessions efficiently
Background in teaching or working directly with students in adult education or classroom settings
