Full Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Receptionist, Monday—Friday from 8am-4:30 pm, to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this role, you will manage front desk operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support office management functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and possesses excellent communication skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Duties

Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and relay messages accurately and promptly, including recording after-hours and weekend messages
Maintain a tidy and professional front desk area, including filing, data entry, and document handeling
Assist with calendar management for scheduling and completing fingerprinting
Support office management tasks such as organizing supplies and distributing paychecks, and scheduling
Utilize software like Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel to update data, handle various correspondence, and create project materials
Handle clerical duties including filing, copying, scanning, and maintaining records with high attention to detail
Provide customer support by addressing inquiries professionally via phone or email

Qualifications

Experience in office administration or front desk roles with strong clerical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and data entry procedures
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Previous experience in the Develpmental Disabilities field is an asset, but not required
Exceptional customer service skills coupled with courteous phone etiquette
