Full Job Description

PondScape LLC is now hiring for all positions. Career opportunity awaits you at PondScape! We are hiring for Retail, Service, Installation, Warehouse & Internet positions. Previous landscape, retail, ecommerce, management, or laborer experience is preferred.

PondScape LLC has been in the water garden business since 1997 and operates a full time service and installation crew, worldwide web store, wholesale and contractor services. PondScape also has a full service walk-in retail location in Ohio and operates service crews in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Employees will be required to travel for work as needed. Travel and lodging provided and is typically a week at a time for 6-8 weeks a year. If you enjoy working with nature and people, we are the company that you should work for.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform all tasks assigned by the General Manager
Perform water garden clean-up
Operate power tools, such as saws, pressure washer, generator, etc
Properly use and maintain all hand tools, such as rakes, shovels, etc.
Assist with final touches and job site cleanups
Janitorial duties as assigned including cleaning of bathrooms, warehouse and litter pick-up
Other duties as assigned
Retail store tasks
Keep store and shelves clean and organized

Essential Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills

Must possess a clean and valid Driver's License

Basic knowledge of equipment including safe usage and maintenance
Ability to operate vehicles, power and hand tools
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to cooperate with others and work as a team
Ability to work a set schedule which may consist of weekend work
Computer skills, Point of Sales systems, Cash Register, Office Suite
Drive / Dedication
Punctual
Reliable

Physical Requirement

Must be physically able to perform all tasks inherent to the position
Ability to lift 50lb pounds
Ability to reach above head with both arms
Ability to stand/walk/stoop/kneel for long periods of time
Hand and wrist dexterity/ ability to dig and plant
Able to perform hard physical labor in all indoor and outdoor environments
