Full Job Description

Tommy's Express is looking for a General Manager to help lead the team in our new location in Warrensburg, MO! We're seeking a candidate to help deliver the ultimate car washing experience to our guests! Join the Tommy's Express team and help lead a group of high energy, friendly people who are driven and customer focused. If you love providing and creating a stellar guest experience, are confident with technology and have prior experience leading an operations or retail team, you will love Tommy's Express!
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure a consistently great customer experience for all guests and the highest wash quality
Manage and oversee day-to-day operations and align practices to the company's vision, principles, and policies
Inspire others and build a dynamic, strong team through effective interviewing, hiring, coaching, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating of associates and assistant managers
Maintain a beautiful, clean, operational, and orderly carwash facility and property
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to operations, human resources, preventative maintenance, and inventory; collect and enter data and photo/video documentation into a computer system
Ensure a safe work environment
Build positive relationships with community partners
Make good decisions to resolve issues quickly and appropriately
Perform other operations, maintenance and carwash site care duties, as requested

QualificationsSkills:

At least 2+ years of successful management experience in the in the service industry, retail and/or other customer-focused industry
Confidence and desire to work with people to inspire team member development, grow club memberships, and solve problems
Goal-orientation, a strong work ethic, and ability to multi-task and prioritize goals and tasks
Comfort with technology and ability to quickly learn a point-of-sale system and a variety of applications on both Apple and PC devices
Experience in operating a variety of equipment and tools and willingness to learn new mechanical skills
Ability to maintain clear and transparent communication, both verbally and in writing
Willingness to abide by our uniform appearance standards and consent to a background check
Availability to work a flexible schedule based upon project and training requirements
Willingness to travel periodically (up to 10%)
Valid driver's license required
The position will start in our Overland Park, KS location and transition to the new location in Warrensburg, MO
