Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Manager to oversee operations and ensure the smooth running of our field activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of office management, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and vendors. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of service delivery while managing budgets and resources efficiently.

Responsible for ensuring accurate vehicle relocation services while managing all field office operations. The Manager is expected to follow company standards and guidelines to deliver an exceptional customer experience. In part, successful managers are good at motivating others, coordinating multiple concurrent orders, delegating with clear expectations, and negotiating with vendors and Independent Contractors.

Duties

Manage on-site vehicle storage/lot, if applicable.
Coordinate customer vehicle pickup, move, and delivery needs with Independent Contractor (IC) vehicle relocation drivers.
Oversee accurate and timely completion of additional services including but not limited to vehicle detailing, titling/registration, and vehicle placement into storage.
Communicate timely by email, telephone and CRM with staff, ICs and pickup and delivery contacts.
Update CRM ACTIVITIES and NOTES promptly and maintain accurate data after each telephone call and email to also include uploading photos and scanned documents.
Ensure adherence to applicable DOT regulations and Federal, State and Local laws.
Ensure profit margins are achieved on orders through efficient execution, effective negotiations with IC drivers and “joining" of multiple orders.
Review quarterly profit and loss statements with Director of Outside Operations and make recommendations for improvements where possible.
Help recruit IC drivers leveraging personal networks and/or publishing ads online and in paper/print.
Interview potential ICs with assistance from Director of Outside Operations
Manage active IC vehicle relocation drivers and ensure legal compliance (driver’s license, medical cards) in partnership with
Outside Operations Specialist (Director of Outside Operations in absence thereof).
Regulate IC compliance with Independent Contractor Reference Guide.

Experience

4+ years of logistics experience focused on the movement of inventory from point of origin to destination or a related discipline.
MS Office and CRM
Proven experience in team management or supervisory roles.
Strong background in budgeting and financial management.
Experience in vendor management, ensuring quality service delivery.
Familiarity with medical office management is a plus but not required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in office management practices and tools.
