Full Job Description

We work on high-quality console, PC, and mobile games. We are looking for a Build and Release Engineer for a long term collaboration, working ON SITE with our Vavel Warsaw team.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the maintenance and development of our in-house build system. We are putting a game back into production and need a strong Build/Release Engineer to stand the project back up. Most of the build and deploy scripts have been written, but they have to be evaluated. The responsibilities cover day to day support of the game creation process and code compilation and integration, improving builds performance and supporting QA with automating testing and game publishing tasks. You will be responsible for source code management and the entire CI process. You will need to have worked in a multi platform environment.

Automate and optimize our software build and deployment system,
Make sure build and deployment processes are following known best practices
Build, extend, and maintain the software release pipeline system
Ensure repeatability of the release management process for the development team
Scale pipeline to support multiple games, systems and developers

Activities including but not limited to:

Build and maintain the build and deploy pipeline environment
Automate release pipeline optimization for continuous release and deployments.
Liaise with other teams on a regular basis regarding common issues

Requirements:

Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools (Jira)
Experience with DevOps tools such as:
SCM – Git, Perforce
Build – Jenkins, Ant,
Deploy – Puppet, Chief
Experience with various development and scripting languages:
Java, .Net, PHP, C++, Python,
Gradle, PERL
Hands on experience with Linux,Windows, iOS and Android
Experience with Virtualization

Must have a business proficiency in English
