We're looking for an experienced Solar & Energy Advisor to represent a premium local brand, build lasting customer relationships, and help shape the next chapter of Newport Solar.

What You'll Do

Meet with homeowners and business owners, understand their goals, and help them determine whether solar, battery storage, or EV charging is the right solution.

You'll educate customers, understand their goals, design the right solution with support from our internal team, and guide them confidently through the sales process.

Your responsibilities include:

Respond promptly to qualified inbound leads
Conduct in-home, virtual, and on-site consultations
Present residential solar, battery backup, EV charging, and small commercial solutions
Explain Rhode Island incentives, financing options, and project economics
Build trust through education and consultative selling
Generate additional business through referrals, networking, and community relationships
Maintain an organized sales pipeline and consistent follow-up
Collaborate with our design, operations, and leadership teams to create an exceptional customer experience

Qualifications Required

Minimum 3 years of residential solar sales experience
Strong understanding of Rhode Island solar programs and incentives
Proven history of consultative sales success
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organization and follow-up habits
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel throughout Rhode Island

Preferred

Experience selling battery storage
Experience selling EV charging solutions
Experience with Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
Experience selling commercial solar projects
Existing Rhode Island referral network

Compensation & Benefits

Expected earnings: $125,000 to $160,000+ annually for experienced performers.
