Job Title: Dog Daycare / Boarding Park Handler

We are a new, locally owned, state-of-the-art pet boarding and daycare facility dedicated to providing safe, attentive, and loving care for dogs while their owners are away. We are building a dependable, hardworking team and are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy working with animals in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Position: Park HandlerResponsibilities
- Supervise dogs during group play in indoor and outdoor play yards
- Monitor dog behavior and ensure a safe play environment
- Feed, water, and walk dogs according to care instructions
- Clean kennels, play areas, and facility spaces to maintain sanitation standards
- Observe and report any health or behavioral concerns
- Follow all safety, handling, and facility procedures
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with dogs is required (dog daycare, kennel, boarding facility, veterinary clinic, shelter, etc.)
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for most of the shift
- Reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail
- Team player with a positive attitude
Work Environment
This is an active, hands-on role. Team members are on their feet for most of their shift and work closely with a large group of dogs in an open play setting throughout the day. The position requires attentiveness, patience, and the ability to stay calm in a busy environment.
Schedule
Full-time position. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
