Feeney Foster CPAs, LLC (www.feeneyfoster.com) is a full-service CPA firm seeking an experienced tax and accounting professional for our Lincoln, Rhode Island office.

Feeney Foster CPAs has been providing quality, personalized financial guidance to businesses and individuals since 2013. Our expertise ranges from tax compliance and accounting services to audits of financial statements. By combining the expertise, experience and team mentality of our staff, we assure that every client receives the close analysis and attention they deserve. Job responsibilities include:

· Be involved in practice management and supervision of multiple engagements.

· Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather needed information to complete accounting and tax projects and respond to questions raised.

· Coordinate, plan and supervise the execution of various tax engagements.

· Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients.

· Oversee the work of staff.

· Provide on-the-job training to subordinates.

· Review and evaluate work papers and determine compliance with professional standards.

· Manage risk and ensure quality control procedures are executed.

Qualifications:

· BBA / BS / MS in Accounting

· Licensed Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent preferred

· Advanced knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxes

· 6+ years of public accounting experience with emphasis on accounting and income tax preparation

· Ability to travel to client sites

· Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy

· Ability to articulately communicate professional / technical knowledge

· Audit and review of financial statements experience is preferred, but not required
