Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Station Cook to join our culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious, high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will ensure that all food served meets safety standards and exceeds expectations. Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to established recipes and menu specifications
Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards
Assist with menu planning, incorporating dietary needs and preferences
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
Support catering events and special meal services as needed
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs promptly
Collaborate with dietary aides and other team members to deliver exceptional service

Requirements

Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety protocols
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
Experience in catering environments is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for long shifts ( up to 8 hours)
Dependable, and motived
Certified Serve Safe Manager Certificate
