Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Asset Management Specialist to join our team and drive excellence in managing investment portfolios. In this role, you will be at the forefront of analyzing, optimizing, and overseeing a diverse range of assets to maximize value and support strategic financial objectives. Your expertise will help shape investment strategies, conduct in-depth research, and utilize advanced financial software to inform decision-making. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative financial solutions within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Duties

Perform all clerical tasks and services inclusive of updating, maintaining, securing and reconciliation of physical inventory and associated digital records with respect to internal transfers, customer transactions, and shipments; picking inventory for orders received; updating and maintaining product inventory database to include performing periodic reconciliation to physical count; receiving and organizing inventory received from production facility; reimaging laptops; performance requires regular lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds and occasional lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
Maintain an Asset Management database within the contractor provided IT Service Management tool.
Provide procurement requirements based on asset quantities, project requirements and end user tickets for Government review and approval to assist in forming procurement strategies to optimize technology spending across the Civil Division, Assets tracked by this team include laptops; thin clients; zero clients; mobile phones; iPads; network switches; servers; printers; multifunction devices (MFD); scanners; software; TVs; monitors; headsets; webcams; encrypted portable hard drives; MiFi/WIFI devices; keyboards; mice; alternative white cards; thin client chargers; iPhone chargers; iPhone cases; iPad stands; HDMI Matrix Switches; and point to point microwave radio.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of government IT asset management required
Must have a Tier 3 Public Trust/Secret clearance

Preferred Experience

1. A minimum of 1 of the following certifications highly preferred: CompTIA A+, HDI SCA, MTA, MCSA, ITIL Foundations, MCP, Network+, Server+, Security+, Project+, VCA (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

2. Experience in IT Service Delivery

3. Proven ability to manage vendors and subcontractors to SLA requirements.

4. Advanced knowledge in the following areas: IT managed services, IT infrastructure and operations management, Print Services, Mobile Services

Pay: $30.00 per hour
