Ready to bring the Fun?

Do you love kids, have tons of energy, and want to start your journey as a professional sitter? Are you the go-to cousin, sibling, or neighbor when families need an extra hand? Do you want a job where you can play, laugh, and learn while building real-world experience?

If you said yes, then becoming a Junior Sitter at Playtime Sitters is for you!

This role is perfect for teens (ages 16–17) or new sitters (18+ with less than a year of paid childcare experience) who are ready to grow, have fun, and make a difference. One game, one story, one smile at a time.

WHAT YOU’LL DO



Show up with a smile and a playful spirit 

Assist with games, crafts, and activities (bring your creativity!)



Be a supportive extra set of hands for families and lead sitters



Help with snack time, cleanup, and keeping kids safe & happy



Shadow more experienced sitters and learn the ropes



Bring the fun and allow kids to feel comfortable and cared for

REQUIREMENTS



Age 16–17 (or 18+ with under 1 year of childcare experience)



CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to complete training)



Reliable, responsible, and respectful



Energetic, positive, and genuinely love working with kids



Able to follow directions and work well as part of a team



Parent/guardian permission if under 18

Gain paid sitter experience through hands-on training and mentorship from experienced sitters while joining a fun, supportive team where no two events are the same! Earn community service hours and certificates for school or resumes, and develop your skills on a clear path toward our Nanny Prep program and eventually becoming a Professional Nanny with us .

SCHEDULE

Availability to work some Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays (most events take place on these days).

LOCATION

Junior Sitters can help at a variety of events, including family events and parent workshops, religious events, galas, dinners, and community gatherings where children need a safe and fun space to play and learn.
