Manager

About the Position:

Nannies and more…® International is seeking an exceptionally experienced,
polished, and proactive Estate House Manager to support a distinguished
ultra-high-net-worth family of four in McLean, Virginia.

This is an outstanding long-term opportunity with a valued repeat client of
our agency who is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the seamless
operation of their expansive private residence spanning approximately 15,000
square feet across three levels.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned estate professional with a service-minded
attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and a hands-on leadership
approach. This individual will anticipate needs, take initiative without
direction, and ensure the home operates at the highest standards of
excellence, discretion, and efficiency.

A full-time housekeeper is already established within the residence;
therefore, the primary focus of this role is comprehensive household and
estate management. The House Manager must also be willing to provide
hands-on support and assist with housekeeping responsibilities when needed
to ensure continuity of service.

Absolute discretion, professionalism, flexibility, and a commitment to
long-term employment are essential.

A signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is required as a condition of
employment.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Oversee the day-to-day operations of a private estate spanning
approximately 15,000 square feet across three levels
* Establish and maintain exceptional household standards, systems, and
routines
* Coordinate and supervise household vendors, contractors, and service
providers
* Manage household schedules, maintenance calendars, and preventive
upkeep
* Monitor and maintain household inventories, supplies, and equipment
* Oversee home organization projects and ensure all spaces always
remain guest-ready
* Coordinate deliveries, service appointments, and household logistics
* Assist with event preparation, guest readiness, and special family
requests
* Create and maintain household manuals, procedures, and operating
systems
* Track household expenses and maintain accurate records as requested
* Liaise with principals, family office representatives, and external
partners
* Ensure confidentiality and security protocols are consistently
upheld
* Provide hands-on support with housekeeping responsibilities during
staff absences or periods of increased need
* Anticipate family needs and proactively resolve issues before they
arise
* Adapt to evolving priorities and provide flexible support as needed

Candidate Qualifications:

* Minimum of five years of recent, full-time professional experience
as a House Manager or Estate Manager in private residences of 15,000 square
feet or larger
* Demonstrated experience managing large, multi-level estates
* Proven experience supporting ultra-high-net-worth families
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
* Self-directed, resourceful, and capable of working independently
* Service-oriented mindset with a positive, flexible, and
collaborative attitude
* Ability to always maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound
judgment
* Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing
priorities
* Proficiency with household technology, digital calendars, and
inventory management systems
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
* Ability to pass comprehensive background screening, reference
verification, and Social Security verification
* Legally authorized to work in the United States
