Full Job Description

RB Properties is a Georgetown company with experienced focus on curating elegant hotels, restaurants, apartments and prestigious commercial and retail spaces. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of 6 commercial office and retail properties and 1 apartment building. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, service-oriented professional who excels at building tenant relationships, maintaining high-quality properties, and delivering exceptional operational performance.

The ideal candidate has a strong background managing commercial office buildings and is passionate about providing outstanding customer service while protecting and enhancing asset value.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial office properties.
Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with tenants by providing responsive and exceptional customer service.
Conduct weekly physical property inspections to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas are maintained to the highest standards.
Coordinate and oversee maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects with vendors and contractors.
Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and monitor property financial performance.
Review and approve invoices, monitor operating expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Coordinate vendor bidding, contract negotiations, and service agreements.
Respond promptly to tenant requests and resolve operational issues efficiently.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
Collaborate with engineering, accounting, and executive leadership to achieve operational and financial goals.
Maintain accurate property records, reports, and documentation.
Assist with annual budgeting and financial reporting.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate property management experience with an emphasis on commercial office properties.
Strong knowledge of commercial building operations, maintenance, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Demonstrated success in developing positive tenant relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
Experience managing multiple properties and prioritizing competing responsibilities.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with commercial property management software is preferred.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical systems, life safety systems, and building operations.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
