Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Helper, where your enthusiasm and dedication will support the smooth operation of our kitchen environment. In this vital role, you will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness standards, and ensure food safety protocols are followed diligently. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to delivering delicious meals in a timely manner, creating a positive experience for our guests and staff alike. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on kitchen experience and develop culinary skills in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients following recipe guidelines and safety standards
Operate basic kitchen equipment including mixers, ovens, and food processors safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances to uphold hygiene standards
Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy periods
Follow food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety compliance
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of stock levels
Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to support menu planning and meal production processes

Skills

Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly advantageous
Strong knowledge of food safety management, handling procedures, and safety standards in production environments
Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and catering operations
Proficiency in food preparation techniques including slicing (knife skills) and cooking methods
Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely while maintaining cleanliness standards
Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen team members
Experience in the food industry or restaurant settings demonstrating reliability and teamwork skills

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
